We are a team of five board-certified rheumatologists and three advanced practice providers committed to serving patients suffering from rheumatic disease with the newest diagnostic and therapeutic tools available. For over four decades, Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, has continued to lead the fight for patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disorders, and other inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions. Practicing from a state-of-the-art facility offering X-ray, a comprehensive laboratory, and infusion therapy, Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, is well-equipped to provide rheumatic disease patients with the highest quality of care.

Dr. Jay Warrick

Dr. Jay Warrick completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Davidson College in 1982. He attended medical school at East Carolina University School of Medicine, graduating in 1986. While in medical school, he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed residency training in internal medicine in 1989 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He completed fellowship training in rheumatology at MUSC in 1991.

Dr. Warrick joined Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, in July of 1991. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Marcin Gornisiewicz

Dr. Marcin Gornisiewicz completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Lublin School of Medicine in Lublin, Poland, in 1986. He attended medical school at Medical University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland, graduating in 1989.

He attended residency training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He completed fellowship training in rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2002.

Dr. Gornisiewicz joined Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, in September 2002. He is board-trained in internal medicine and board-certified in rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Kenneth Johnsen

Dr. Kenneth Johnsen attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he majored in chemistry and graduated with high honors in 2007. He attended medical school at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, graduating in 2012.

In medical school, he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed internal medicine residency training in 2015 at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Saint Thomas Health System in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed rheumatology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2017.

Dr. Johnsen joined Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, in July 2017. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Brian Bush

Dr. William Brian Bush completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Georgia in 2011, graduating cum laude. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, graduating in 2015.

He completed residency training in internal medicine in 2018 at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, St. Thomas Health System in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed fellowship training in rheumatology at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina, in 2020.

Dr. Bush joined Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, in July 2020. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. William Monaco

Dr. Monaco completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Duke University in 2007. After working for two years at Massachusetts General Hospital, he attended medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, graduating with Honors in 2013. He completed internal medicine residency in 2016 and rheumatology fellowship in 2018 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dr. Monaco is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. Additionally, he is certified in rheumatologic musculoskeletal ultrasonography (RhMSUS) by the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Monaco joined Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, in 2024.

Erin G. Kimble, PA-C

Erin Kimble is licensed by the Tennessee Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee as a Chancellor's Honors and College Scholars graduate in 2011. She then worked in education and cardiac care before attending PA school.

Erin earned her graduate degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine PA Program. She worked in internal medicine in Atlanta before joining Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC. She completed the Advanced Rheumatology Course by the American College of Rheumatology.

As a PA-C, Erin works closely with our physicians and sees patients, performs physical exams, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, formulates treatment plans, gives injections, and prescribes medications. She is passionate about patient education and desires to work in partnership with patients to help them reach their goals and live healthier lives.

Erin grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. In her spare time, she loves to cook, ride her bike, travel, and spend time with her husband and family.

Kobi Moseley, PA-C

Kobi Moseley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology at the University of Tennessee in 2015, graduating summa cum laude.  She then earned her PA degree from Lincoln Memorial University graduating with honors being inducted to the Pi Alpha National Honor Society.  She is licensed by the Tennessee Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 

Prior to joining Rheumatology Consultants, PLLC, she worked in rheumatology in Michigan for 3 years and then hematology/oncology in Alabama for 1 year.  She has completed certification for Fracture Liaison Services through the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation.  

Kobi works closely with our physicians evaluating patients, managing treatment plans, and giving injections.  She hopes to inform and collaberate with patients in order to help them have a better quality of life.  Kobi grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and enjoys hiking, disc golf, baking, and spending time with her husband, their 2 dogs, and family.

Sarah Stephenson, FNP-BC

Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sarah graduated cum laude from The University of Tennessee in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse at Parkwest Medical Center, where she worked in the Critical Care Unit. Driven by a passion for advanced patient care, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at Lincoln Memorial University, graduating in 2013. Sarah has been specializing in rheumatic conditions and treatment options since 2015 when she joined a private rheumatology practice in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2019, she returned to her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, where she continues to pursue her career in rheumatology. 

Sarah is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is an active member in the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR), Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers (RhAPP), and the Tennessee Rheumatology Society (TRS). Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family and golden retriever, Riley. You can often find her at the baseball park cheering on her son, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, or attending University of Tennessee athletic events.
